L'associació
L’estiu de 1999 pren carta de naturalesa un projecte d’un grapat d’amics enamorats del món de la viticultura i neix l’Associació Vi Primitiu de Pollença. Es tracta d’una secció integrada dins el Club Pollença, on es troba el seu domicili social.
El nom de l’Associació es deu al poeta i cronista de la vila, el recentment desaparegut Miquel Bota Totxo, i resulta ser molt il·lustratiu, en el sentit de transmetre una idea de senzillesa i sinònim de fruit directe de la terra. L’associació pretén ser un lloc on els associats comparteixin experiències en l’elaboració del vi, però també hi tenen cabuda aquelles persones que, sense ser productors aficionats, volen aprendre a valorar i estimar tot allò que envolta el món del vi.
